How do I join a game?
Open the Urban Safari app and enter the game code provided by your event organizer. You'll then be able to join or create a team.
What is a Tech Captain?
The Tech Captain is the team member who manages the team within the app. They can invite team members, submit challenges, and manage team settings.
Can I play on multiple devices?
Yes! Team members can use their own devices. Use the rejoin code to access your team from a different device or if you need to reinstall the app.
Why won't my photo or video upload?
Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Large video files may take longer to upload. If the problem persists, try restarting the app.
How are points calculated?
Each challenge has a point value displayed on the challenge card. Complete the challenge correctly to earn those points. Some challenges may have bonus points for creativity!
The app is asking for camera permissions. Is this required?
Yes, camera access is needed to complete photo and video challenges. Urban Safari only uses your camera when you're actively taking photos or videos for challenges.
Troubleshooting Tips
App is running slowly
Try closing other apps running in the background and ensure you have a stable internet connection.
Can't find my team
Use your rejoin code to reconnect to your team. If you don't have your rejoin code, contact your Tech Captain or event organizer.
Challenge submission failed
Check your internet connection and try again. Your submission is saved locally and will upload when connection is restored.
